How to Obtain the EB-5 Visa

The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program requires an investment into a new commercial enterprise that creates jobs for US workers.
Investment Routes
1. Targeted Employment Area (TEA) / Rural & Infrastructure Projects
  - Minimum investment: USD $800,000
2. Other Projects (non-TEA)
  - Minimum investment: USD $1,050,000
Both pathways require that the investment:
- Creates at least 10 full-time jobs for US workers
- Is maintained for the duration of the visa application process

Golden Visa Application Process

Year 0 – Months 1–6

• Select qualifying project
• Investment made
• Application (Form I-526E) submitted

Year 1 – 2

• Application processing
• Conditional Green Card approval

Year 2 – 5

• Live, work, and study in the US
• Meet job creation & investment requirements

Year 5+

• Apply for removal of conditions → Permanent Green Card
• Begin process for US citizenship after 5 years of permanent residency
